I think this indicator suffers from the same things as many of its similar counterparts. It mistakes current momentum for past momentum. This causes most of the signals to be incorrect. In my back-testing I noticed that when comparing two signal types (most invalid and profitable) the most invalid type occurred significantly more often. Most Invalid in my definition is a signal that is given to buy at the high of a move or sell at the low. This signal type on this indicator occurs frequently because the indicator will look at 3-4 huge bars and then get you into the move. But the move happened already. We see the same problem with the Supertrend indicator where it takes a significant move to generate a signal and generally the first thing that happens after that move is a retracement, usually passed the stop loss.
