Even before the fraud came out, I was so effing fed up with this trust fund baby getting fawned on for saying SOMEDAY he planned to help the poors.
Once you have enough to be financially stable, that's when you start. You don't need billions. Sure, that kind of fortune lets you encourage systemic changes that are orders of magnitude more than you can do with donations of a few thousand here and there.
I still don't understand why he was getting credit for good deeds he hadn't done yet. Now, if he'd already picked a cause, funded it, and used his celebrity to encourage more rich people to buy in or started an altruism challenge and made it trendy, his boasting would've been useful.
