I saw this coming and have tried to warn someone about it being controlled and regulated by the government and central banks, anyway they have lost all their money now, it's going to end up regulated to the point how gambling is, rigged so no one is winning ( to an exstent, and they will then treat it like gambling and put the narrative there that it's an addiction 🙄

Bitcoin's great but it wasn't distributed fairly in the beginning. A few who knew about it early on have made billions while others, are fighting to even get 0.001BTC. I wonder if Satashi is still alive and would one day give his 1M BTC to the poor.

Increasing block size from 1mb to 8mb ( or 2mb or 4mb) may have been reasonable, to increase tps but still allow everyone to be a node, but 8gb is ridiculous. BIP 101 should have stopped at the first half of the proposal namely the initial increase.

I am not a believer on Bitcoins and other such schemes. I believe in real money and always will be!
Any worthwhile system takes power away from governments & banks. They will always abuse it.
The United States will eventually control all crypto. It's already in the works. They will seize control of it either through legislation or by physical force, anywhere in the world and anywhere on the internet. If you doubt this, you don't understand the greed for power, the desire to centralize global currency, and the goal to control the global population. Authoritarianism and tyranny is on the horizon and people today are either welcoming it or have gotten too fat, lazy, and afraid to do anything about it.
Bitcoin is like Ford Model T. Much respect for being a pioneer. But their technology is clunky, slow, inefficient, expensive to transact. That is why it has nil utility value and has been outran by other much better digital coins that are scalable much faster and much cheaper to transact.

This takes me back. I was a small blocker, not because I didn't want BTC to be a currency. I just don't think every $5 coffee needs to be stored forever on 10's of thousands of computers. Small purchases don't need the security of a car or home purchase. Small purchases should be on a 2nd layer, instead of the the base layer. Bitcoin is a platform to build on top of.
Sure! Replace the US currency and use another government allotted coins and get credit vouchers instead. All towards a One World government control order. No thanks, I like my freedom.

Roger Ver has a new book coming out about the history of Bitcoin and specifically how Bitcoin was hijacked with small blocks and how layer 2 would be required. Guy is great but some of the information is biased towards the small block cabal. I'm looking forward to Roger telling the other side of the story and how BCH is Bitcoin as Satoshi Nakamoto created. Some of this talk about institutional investors is utter nonsense.
