AntPool to refund record $3.1M Bitcoin transaction fee after costly user mistake

Bitcoin (BTC) mining pool AntPool mentioned it could refund 83 BTC, greater than $3 million, an unknown consumer had paid as gasoline charges for a transaction, based on a Nov. 30 assertion.

On Nov. 23, CryptoSlate Perception reported that BTC block 818,087, mined by AntPool, had seen charges exceeding 85 Bitcoin.
