The public sale, which concluded on Wednesday, consisted of three of the pictures, together with a pixelated avocado that fetched greater than $100,000 and a design that seems to be derived from a mushroom within the Tremendous Mario franchise that bought for north of $240,000, in line with Derek Parsons, a spokesman for the public sale home. There have been 148 complete bids throughout the three tons, and greater than two-thirds of all bidders have been new to Sotheby’s.
