Following the introduction of their Polygon-based loyalty programme in December 2022, Starbucks Korea have introduced that they may begin issuing NFTs on Polygon in January 2024, as a part of their drive to incentivise clients to make use of reusable cups.
Clients can accumulate “eco-stamps” by buying eligible drinks, which will be exchanged for limited-edition NFTs.

These limited-edition Starbucks NFTs have been developed in collaboration with South Korean artwork platform Print Bakery, and famend NFT artist DADAZ.
Alongside their launch, Starbucks will likely be holding an in-store exhibition at their Starbucks Reserve location in Jongno-gu, Seoul to showcase the NFTs and spotlight their sustainability developments to this point.
Complimentary beverage vouchers are already provided to Starbucks Korea clients who buy a reusable cup. These will likely be renamed ‘Eco Tumbler Beverage Coupons’ in parallel with the NFT rewards as a part of their wider inexperienced marketing campaign.
