Environmental activists have hurled tomato soup at two Sunflowers works by Vincent van Gogh which can be on present within the exhibition Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers on the Nationwide Gallery in London.
One of many works—Sunflowers (1888, Nationwide Gallery, London)—was beforehand the goal of the same incident in October 2022, for which Simply Cease Oil activists Phoebe Plummer and Anna Holland acquired jail sentences earlier at this time.
