Hi Tony. I just don’t understand stable coins. Ask your upcoming guests why anyone should buy a stable coin. Help me out here. Even if the stable coin is 100% backed by USD, aren’t USDT, RLUSD and USDC just inferior representations of rapidly depreciating “assets,” I. E. Fiat? Isn’t each new stable coin similar to the French issuing another iteration of assignats? If I buy $500 of a fully backed USD stable coin today, won’t it be worth $500 in depreciated US dollars ten years from now?
