I get it man, who doesn't need money? But don't try to sweep everything under the carpet. They weren't friends of the show, they offered you a deal and you took it, and by doing so you did a paid re-review. Payday 3 is still a very flawed game. Joe knows the point but dodges around it a bit, and he knows it lol. The game was praised by AJ before the release, yes he had fun, but he was paid. Now he was paid again, even tho ppl who bought it based on his initial recommendation felt scammed.
Veilguard had me interested because of the environments and well combat not sure, looked flashy at least. But that writing and some absolutely unlikeable characters… in a RPG… well in Germany we "6 setzen!" which is like in the states "F sit down!" I guess? Worst score in school, when you absolutely failed a class assignment.

Jose Vargas, just like the AVGN do not understand how YouTube works. No one really cares that you are getting older or what problems you have now. If you fail to deliver the same quality and quantity of entertainment as before, eventually you get sidelines, as people move on to better content creators who can actually do that.
"Loyalty" exists only until someone better comes along. If you don't believe me, try searching for College Humor, or Fred, or the Annoying Orange and see what you find. Channels which were massive once which faded, cause, over time, the quality and quantity got worse.

I love the angry reviews that's why I have been subbed since the beginning. All this film and TV trash no one cares about and even worse AJ stupid little toy videos that only around 5% of the population like and 99% are Virgins.
I love Alex and OJ they work there ass off but eveytime I see AJ he's playing a game for 1hr gets bored and hands it to OJ or Alex while he stuffs his face.
AJ had gotten lazy in the past 3 years he's got no interest in anything unless HE likes it.
That's not how a reviewer channel works.
They watch every trash film and TV show but not games the whole reason we are here.
Fair enough something personal happend but shit happens if every business did that they wouldn't make any money that's why you get other employees to cover your work.
AJ takes all the credit and lime light but at this point Alex and OJ carry this channel and it's going to crash. He's got to comfortable living off donations.
Make AJ work again. Get him out of his basement playing with his little figures and do the stuff we subscribed for or hand the channel over to Alex and OJ.
Most of the time AJ doesn't even know what's going on. Stop donating and he will have to put more effort back into YT not the low effect movie and TV shit.
Over the years I have donated probably around $1000 including merch and gfuel.
He comes up with excuses and you can just tell by Alex's face he's annoyed with him sometimes because you know Alex is anti lazy.
Just look at the angry reviews views 3-8 m the move and TV stuff struggles with 100k and the toy shit gets around 16k
It's there in black and white in data. So many creators should give anything to have his platform and number of subs they would be working Thier ass off.
When AJ complains about having to do actual work oh my heart bleeds it must be real hard work. His job is 80% messing about and 20% when they have to do the editing.

I read many of the comments from that Payday 3 video and there weren't that many complaining about not enough reviews, not sure why this was in the "explanation" part of this news video.
Regarding the Payday controversy, it would have been much better if Joe said from the start that the devs paid him for a "say what you want" video (like he said in the "explanation" on this news video) and maybe showed us the mail where they said that. However, I suspect that wasn't the case and it was more like "we give you money to make us look good".
On another note, what did the Payday3 video achieve? The video was supposed to be about how the game is a lot better, but they didn't actually mention what was improved (they briefly mentioned the lobby selection screen and that the crew screen looks better). It would have been great if there was a list of improvements, maybe with some comparison footage from the version that launched.
If they did that, I would actually agree that they gave the devs a second chance and actually investigated the current state of the game.
I know it wasn't supposed to be a full review, but still, as it is now, they half-assed a video and ended it with "it sure feels a lot better, try it out!".
Been an angry Joe lurker for so many years, almost no comments, but had to here. Just wanted to chime in and say I'm glad you are growing! Do your thing guys! I'd love to see actual product reviews with your level of integrity, let's see what you got!
If you had made it clear from the get go on the payday video that it was a sponsored video, half of this would have been avoided. I dont doubt that you looked at the game and genuinely thought that this was one that you could go back to, and it made financial sense. My gripe (and I imagine this is true for a number of other subscribers) is that you didnt make it clear that the video had been sponsored by the devs. You easily could have added in the stuff you're saying now about being reticent to do a sponsored video, and that the only reason you agreed to this one is because you've tested it and you stand by the improvements. Im genuinely surprised that you didnt just try and get out ahead of the obvious criticism you were going to get, and instead tried to slide it through.

You all do such a good job. I wasn't aware of the drama with Payday 3 but I've been following you all for years now. Keep up the good work. The gaming news, movies, and games covered are just chefs kiss. No one can be expected to perfect all the time and mistakes do happen. I wouldn't really call this a mistake by any means btw. feel like sometimes people forget that angry joe is not IGN, AJ, OJ and Alex is literally it, its the "little guy" in comparison to bigger organisations like, IGN, Rooster teeth ect, who have hundreds of employee's, with The AJS its a much more personal touch and you can feel that love and care goes into everything they do, keep up the good work guys, your fans are still here
