He's suggesting that the federal reserve rates will need to be cut before Musk and Ramaswami's spending cut ideas can go into effect, otherwise you end up with more bank bailouts and horrific unemployment. It's like we're sailing between scylla and charybdis right now but are in the unfortunate position where we have to interact with one other the other (either cutting interest rates and QE or massive unemployment and stagflation).

When the stock market crashes (about 50%), both gold and bitcoin will crash along with it because those in the market will have to cover their losses and margins and will sell off gold and bitcoin. Gold will be the least affected, but it will not spike. Also with the upcoming recession, oil will also crash because of the lack of traveling with all the layoffs. More people travel for work than vacation. I love Jimmy, but Jimmy and his guests do not even have a elementary understanding of Economics.
