Something worth noted as well: the much weaker your country's currency is for years, the more uncertain and bleak your employment opportunities are, the much higher are the chance of individuals to eat the bait and got pulled into the nerve-wracking world of cryptocurrency and bitcoin. No matter how much you convince yourself "nah, i won't be solely investing on crypto, i won't be dumping all the money in my bank account and piggy bank into crypto~", you will end up being lured or enticed into doing such drastic decision. Only if you have accumulated wealth on par with the one percenters or the world's oldest old money families that still exist to this day that you can diversify your investments in different assets, while the money that you put on that wild wild rollercoaster ride called crypto (and end up turning into dust during those crypto value crashes) are probably just "so meagre" by the standards of hyper-rich folks or old money folks. That's why those who end up crying and weeping when their crypto "investments" are lost overnight up to a point of not having the energy and voice to wail your heart out anymore are mostly middle-class people.
