A uncommon limestone reduction has vanished from a tomb in Egypt’s well-known Saqqara necropolis, the nation’s antiquities authority has introduced.

The work disappeared from the tomb of Khentika, who was a vizier within the late reign of pharaoh Teti, the primary pharaoh of the sixth dynasty. The tomb was found within the Nineteen Fifties, after which it was closed to the general public—and used for storage by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities—till 2019.
