CEOs of a number of the largest banks within the US are about to satisfy with lawmakers on Capitol Hill as a key Senate Committee prepares to vote on main Bitcoin and crypto laws.

The Senate Banking and Agriculture Committees are getting ready to vote on a digital asset market construction invoice this month.

And forward of the vote, the CEOs of Financial institution of America, Wells Fargo and Citi will meet with Senators of each events to weigh in on the laws, experiences Punchbowl.

The invoice goals to ascertain a transparent regulatory framework for digital commodities by defining their classification.

The laws presently assigns oversight primarily to the Commodity Futures Buying and selling Fee for spot markets whereas sustaining Securities and Trade Fee jurisdiction over securities, and offering exemptions, registration pathways and protections to foster innovation and shopper security.
