HKMA and HKUST Collaborate to Enhance Cybersecurity in Hong Kong’s Financial Sector

The Hong Kong Financial Authority and HKUST Enterprise College have signed an MoU to advance cybersecurity analysis, aiming to bolster Hong Kong’s monetary sector towards rising threats.





The Hong Kong Financial Authority (HKMA) and the College of Enterprise and Administration on the Hong Kong College of Science and Expertise (HKUST Enterprise College) have entered right into a pivotal collaboration to fortify cybersecurity measures in Hong Kong’s monetary sector. The announcement, made on Could 29, 2025, marks a major step ahead in addressing the evolving cyber threats that pose dangers to monetary stability.

Strategic Framework for Cybersecurity Innovation

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the 2 establishments units a strategic framework for collaborative efforts aimed toward advancing utilized cybersecurity analysis. This partnership is designed to not solely develop sensible purposes and lift consciousness of rising threats but in addition to nurture specialised expertise important for the monetary business’s ongoing growth.
