Frank Gehry, the architect behind the Guggenheim Bilbao, Geffen Modern at MoCA, Los Angeles, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, amongst different museums and artwork areas, died final Friday at his dwelling in Santa Monica, California. He was 96. Ben Luke discusses his lengthy engagement with artwork, artists and museums with Paul Goldberger, the structure critic and Gehry’s biographer.

Serpentine and the US-based FLAG Artwork Basis final week introduced the creation of a prize for artists that may see £1 million being awarded over 10 years to 5 artists, or £200,000 to every recipient—the most important up to date artwork prize within the UK given to a single artist. Ben speaks to Glenn Fuhrman, the founding father of The FLAG Artwork Basis, and Jonathan Rider, its director, concerning the prize.
