Let's keep it real, people. BTC jumped today because the dollar fell. As a control to confirm this, the 10yr bond jumped just as much. It is the dollar's move, not the ETF, that prompted today's escalation. When the unemployment report was issued and they found the job market was softening, this meant the economy was slowing. Therefore, the Fed will not need to raise interest rates anymore. So the dollar plummeted, the 10yr bond soared, and the chart looks identical to BTC. Again, and listen to me. Gravestone's approval, although a great thing, occurred hours earlier, and BTC didn't budge. I watched it for literally hours, and it stood still. Then the employment figures are released, and immediately the dollar dropped, the 10yr jumped, and BTC jumped with it. Look at the time stamps on the graphs. I don't mean to denigrate Crypto Zombie here, who's work I appreciate. I'm just trying to keep this accurately aligned with the facts This is good, because as the dollar continues to decline, BTC will continue to rise. The SEC must "review" its ruling and explain why it approved the options related BTC funds and rejected a spot BTC ETF. It is just logical, but does not mean that the SEC will approve the GBTC conversion to a spot ETF. Gensler will just keep denying spot ETF applications but will have to explain his reasoning the next time. The SEC's inconsistency noted by the judge must stop.
