Trezor reveals 66,000 users could face phishing attack

The safety incident occurred on January 17, 2024, Trezor disclosed in a weblog publish revealed on January 20.
It concerned a third-party help ticketing portal that Trezor makes use of.

The breach might expose the 66,000 contacts that had interacted with the {hardware} pockets maker’s buyer help since December 2021 to potential phishing assaults.

“Though unconfirmed, we take into account it our accountability to tell our affected customers of the potential of their contact particulars having been uncovered, and vulnerable to a phishing assault,” Trezor added of the incident.

Trezor has additionally contacted eight people that created accounts on Trezor’s trial dialogue platform. The compromised third-party vendor hosted this explicit platform.
