Of course, they (aka bankers, like those running the FED) do not want you to self-custody anything, especially not Bitcoin. You might get the idea that you have personal financial power for real and not believe in the fairy tales the bankers have been spinning since the 'job' was invented, which could be as old as 5,000 years or even longer. It will mean the start of the end of their retail business. Which is about time in my humble opinion. They will not be able to not be disrupted by the blockchain and cryptocurrency. They can try to draw the process out as long as they can/want, via their revolving door friends in Washington, but once people start using it for everyday payments, which we are still far from considering the fees and the bad UXes, it will be game over for them.
