I was interested in BTC a long time ago and I used to talk with a certain friend about it and saying that we should sit down and figure out how to purchase and how wallets work etc. but it didn't happen. Finally when El Salvador announced that they would make BTC an accepted currency three years ago, then I was finally motivated to jump in.
It certainly seems to have become a store of value now.

I'm a BTC owner but what concerns me is if bitcoin becomes owned by only a handful of wallets, does it not lose its utility? Gold is pretty to look at, so its not an issue. But BTC must have a function otherwise it is no longer useful. If it loses its liquidity then could it possibly fall in value?

I am risk taker and a dividend investor, My wife and I have invested in the S&P500, both through my TSP with the government, and through fidelity in her 401-k. Cashed out 270k from the S&P and invested with a Fin-Planner, MonicaMary Strigle. Until around 3 years ago we were 100% in the s&p after over 30 years. I’m retiring at the end of this month at 62, while my wife will retire next year at 60. Under Monica, I bought Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano during 2022. I got 173% gains in 2023. I expect more in 2024 there other speculative assets including shorting the Chinese Index mnths ago. Currently have 3.7 million in our tax deferred savings. I am putting this out there for anyone looking for how to help themselves in this time of crisis.
