Paypal sucks, the crap they pulled in the past has turned a lot of people against them.
Why would Paypal build on ETH, which is a failed outdated trash tech that not function? This lacks all sense and shows how dumb this space still is. Why would you not work with Cardano or Ripple (the most advanced tech in this space, which functions correctly, is quick and cheap)
Why doing this on ETH? the fees are so high, it's a nonesense, better should be on the XRPL network, very cheap. So strange decision.

Now, we are having the sole efforts of Paypal to maintain the peg, I would would get benefits form Paypal maintaing that peg – and I could convert back to fiat from the issuer (paypal), no matter where I buy that stable coin from, even if its from an exchange e.g. I buy apple stock on Robinhood – I still can go back to apple and be in their shreholder meetings, gian dividends etc etc. I belive this is why TUSD was allowed to proceed, as I cant find any real proof that the judge disagreed with Judge Torres
PayPal blocked one of my PayPal business accounts for customer fraudulent payments and not my fault and I believe pyusd can be frozen. Not a good idea using pyusd or PayPal using Ethereum!
I hate to say this but the XRP will be under a $1 for years to come enjoy your investment folks ..lol
